Our business includes direct creative and digital services, as well as the development and operation of independent ventures.

Our direct services may include:

  • Brand strategy and brand identity development.

  • Website design and development.

  • White-label creative and design services.

  • Digital marketing and email marketing.

Our independent ventures may include separate products, services, and platforms that operate under their own applicable terms and policies.

2. Services and Project Agreements

All services are provided according to the scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing agreed upon between Mavook and the client.

Depending on the project, services may be governed by a separate proposal, service agreement, statement of work, or contract.

Where a separate written agreement exists, its specific terms will govern the applicable project in the event of a conflict with these general Terms & Conditions.

Mavook reserves the right to decline projects, modify service offerings, or discontinue services at its discretion.

3. Payments and Deposits

Payments for services are established through individual proposals or service agreements.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • A deposit is required before work begins.

  • Deposits are non-refundable, including when a client chooses not to proceed after reserving the project.

  • Remaining balances must be paid according to the agreed payment schedule.

  • Additional work outside the agreed scope may require additional fees.

  • Work may be paused or withheld when required payments are overdue.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that payments are made on time and that billing information is accurate.

4. Project Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing the information, content, materials, approvals, and feedback reasonably necessary for Mavook to complete the agreed services.

This may include:

  • Written content, images, and brand assets.

  • Business information and project requirements.

  • Website access, account credentials, and necessary permissions.

  • Timely feedback and approvals.

Project timelines may be affected by delayed materials, approvals, or communication from the client.

Mavook is not responsible for delays resulting from circumstances outside its reasonable control.

5. Revisions and Scope Changes

The number of revisions and the scope of included work will be established in the applicable proposal or service agreement.

Requests that materially change the original project scope may require additional fees and revised timelines.

Mavook will communicate significant scope changes and obtain client approval before proceeding with additional billable work.

6. Intellectual Property and Ownership

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, ownership of final, approved, and fully paid-for custom deliverables will transfer to the client upon receipt of all applicable payments.

Until full payment is received, Mavook retains ownership of the applicable deliverables and may withhold final files, website access, or other materials.

Mavook retains ownership of its pre-existing intellectual property, including proprietary methods, templates, frameworks, processes, tools, and reusable design components.

Third-party assets, fonts, stock imagery, software, plugins, and other licensed materials remain subject to their respective licensing agreements. Clients are responsible for any ongoing licenses or subscriptions required for their continued use, unless otherwise agreed.

Mavook may request permission to display completed projects in its portfolio, website, marketing materials, or social media. Client work will not be publicly shared where a written confidentiality agreement prohibits disclosure.

7. White-Label Services

Mavook may provide creative and digital services to agencies, businesses, and other partners on a white-label basis.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Mavook will perform the agreed services behind the scenes.

  • The partner may present completed deliverables under its own brand.

  • The partner is responsible for its relationship, pricing, billing, and communication with its end clients.

  • The partner must obtain all necessary permissions and approvals from its clients.

  • Mavook is not responsible for disputes between the partner and its end clients.

Partners may not represent Mavook's proprietary materials, processes, or intellectual property as their own independently developed products.

Any additional confidentiality, non-solicitation, or exclusivity arrangements must be established in a separate written agreement.

8. Third-Party Platforms and Services

Our work may involve third-party platforms, including website builders, hosting providers, payment processors, email marketing services, domain registrars, and other software providers.

Mavook does not own or control these third-party platforms and is not responsible for their independent operations, outages, service changes, pricing adjustments, security incidents, or discontinuation.

Clients are responsible for maintaining their own third-party accounts, subscriptions, and licenses unless otherwise agreed in writing.
